Last month I had the pleasure of mentoring Samantha Kirk, a sweet and talented up and coming photographer. After pouring over marketing, branding, pricing structure, etc., we headed out to Grass Valley to photograph a lovely styled shoot. I am so blessed to have such an amazing team of vendors at my side. Many thanks to California Vintage Rentals + Design, for providing the locations, details an d styling. You always outdo yourselves. Thank you to Jackie’s Flowers for our gorgeous arrangements and details. Thank you to Pushkin’s Bakery for the delicious cake. I never realized how yummy a gluten, dairy free cake could taste! A giant thank you to Mary Rossitto Studios for making our models look even more beautiful and thank you to my dear friends Cat and James, for coming out and being your beautiful selves. Much love and appreciation to you all!! xoxo
I’m so glad this sweet couple decided to scratch their huge, springtime wedding in Tahoe, and hop a plane to Maui for a New Year’s destination wedding instead. It was an honor to capture the most special day of your lives and join you for a week of fun Hawaiian adventures! I also wanted to share their beautiful wedding film by Johnny B Hicks.I recommend him to anyone looking for a cinematographer. He is an amazing person and talented artist! Cheers to Kevin and Tiffany!! May you be blessed with lots of babies and many more wonderful adventures together;-). xoxo

After over 15 years together, Val and Dennis decided to tie the knot. It was one of the most awesome weddings I’ve ever photographed! These two have experienced more in their lives as a couple than most and it was so refreshing to see them still more in love than ever. Cheers to Val and Dennis and a Wondrous New Year!!!!
Erik and Kate decided to elope during a three month trip throughout Europe. They traveled only with the packs on their backs and clothes they were wearing. The wedding took place right outside Florence, Italy at a lovely venue called Villa Castelletti. It was such a refreshing change to capture their intimate ceremony. We spent the day walking around the city of Florence and the surrounding countryside. Many thanks to my dear friend Erica Brenci for your help and being our tour guide:). xoxo
These images are from a styled shoot in front of Portovenere in Liguria…across the bay from Cinque Terre, Italy. My friends Erica Brenci of Les Amis Photo and Soofia Barozzi of Il Profumo Dei Flori arranged the shoot and did such a beautiful job! A very big thank you to them, Valentina Oliana of Cut and Paste Lab for the stationary, Couture Hayez Atelier for the dress, and our lovely model, Krizia Pacella!
It was my first time testing the new CineStill Film and I am a big fan! They have a red/cyan color shift that is so cool. It’s always fun to try out new films!!
Here is the first of two posts from our wedding inspiration shoot @ Bodega Bay Fellowship 2013, the latest Bret Cole Workshop! It was an unbelievable day and huge group effort. I could not have been more thrilled with how it turned out! Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who was involved to make this photo shoot a smashing success!!! Thank you Jan Hatch and Gayle Newman Jarrett for your support, hard work and amazing sense of style. Thank you Jackie and Chelsie Perez for creating the most beautiful flower arrangements I have ever seen. Much appreciation to Kerry Scott Grolle for going above and beyond with the stationary and Becky Hawkins for printing it. Thank you Laci & Travis Sandoval for the delicious treats and Debra Verdi for providing our breathtaking venue. Last but not least, many thanks to our models Mckinzie, Kenny and Jaclyn for blessing us with your presence and freezing your tushies off so the photographers could to get their shots. It was truly a joy to work and fellowship with you all! xoxo
