Bret is a fine art photographer, graduated from Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, California. Her passionate images beautifully chronical the human spirit. Born in Switzerland, raised on California’s lovely Central Coast and now living in Lake Tahoe, Bret is educated eclectically. Her love for different cultures inspired her to find a career in which she could combine travel with her art.

Her work constists of both directed and undirected photographs creating a natural, lifestyle feeling and shoots old school film, primarily medium format. From an artist’s perspective, the tradition of how photography began is important. Film provides brilliant and rich color, a shallow depth of field and a smooth tonal range that creates images Bret envisions and that her clients adore.

Bret has studied under wonderful photographers such as Fine Art photographer Jose Villa and Commercial Lifestyle Photographer Marcy Maloy. She photographs weddings world wide and is published in many esteemed magazines and blogs.
